FMD-40 is an angular abrasive ensuring excellent particle retention, slightly tougher than FMD-20. This product is recommended for electroplated and metal bonded tools, glass and ceramics grinding, germstones and cast iron grinding.
Highly resistant, it has sharp, irregular monocrystalline particles.

Regular-shaped abrasive, often used for surface grinding.

With few inclusions, it is impact resistant and thermally stable.
